Btw, I had a problem with installation because I used HDMI, cheapest DP->HDMI connector resolves this issue.

I'm new on the osx scene and just wanted to ask some noob questions. Do i need this patch "DSDT with Maximus VI&Intel 8-series patch" ? If yes, how do I do it? Is the "patch" the only post installation not indicated in the tutorial?

Things I've done...

- Installed Mavericks using the clover guide.
- Did both clover and didii'd multibeast post installation.
- Wifi worked with Toleda's kext
- Bluetooth worked with what frfrfr suggested.
- Relocated the bootloader on the OS drive's EFI partition.

Hi,
I followed the guide to create a UniBeast USB and to boot my M6I. Before, I loaded optimized BIOS and disabled Vd-T. However, every time I chose to boot from the usb, the screen became blank with a twinkling coursor and my keyboard was freezed.
Please Help~~

@Polochamps: Hi there. No, u don't have to use a custom DSDT to run OSX with this motherboard. Do you have any problems with the current build?

@Caonliu: If you followed the guide correctly, there should be no problem installing mavericks. Use either HDMI or DVI for your video output, btw.

I have three problems with my current build the "GPU throttling" issue, "iMessage" and "no sounds" after sleep.

How do u know that u have a GPU throttling? I never checked that tho. Both my GTX 650TI and GTX770 gives me full acceleration, and properly detected in system profiler. The HD4000 doesnt give me full acceleration tho. It only runs on 1024x768 res.

In regards of iMessage, have u installed FileNvram.dylib to your /Extra folder? Make sure it's the 1.1.2 version, not the 1.1.3. Search this forum for more info about it

For the sound, im not sure about it. I didn't have any problems with the sound after waking up. It's tested under 10.9.0 condition tho. since past 10.9.0, ive been using my external audio interface for the I/O. But there should be no problem with it, because it seems that no one seems to be having that sound problem. What's your bios version btw?

Check your HW monitor when opening a OpenCL based application such as "Preview". Observe that your GPU clocks would go up high and won't throttle (means higher power consumption for nothing).

I don't exactly know where to put the FileNvram.dylib because I installed Mavericks using Clover.

BIOS is the current 1402.

However, just I cannot get into Mavericks installation without the only occasion. And after that only time with successful installation of mavericks, my pc still cannot boot into mavericks and even the installation both.
Please help.

I had tried "IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No" and/or "-x", "-v", "-f", "PCIRootUID=0/1". but they seem does not work on my pc. please help~

Hmmm. I think I had that issue before.

Try this graphicsenabler=no -x maxmem=4096

@Polochamps: Try to ask the people at Clover subforum for installing the FileNVRAM, man. I have no idea about that bootloader .

my GTX770 isn't throttling. I can see the clocks rockets when running Heaven. Hmm, might need to ask other members in this forum, I guess. Sorry i couldn't be much of a help, Polo.

@CaonLiu: Where did you plug your Unibeast USB? Try to use the USB 2.0 port, or try to change it to other ports. Hopefully it works
