Yes mate, all sorted. I just re-enabled "Wireless status button" in BIOS, rebooted, pressed the button again and bluetooth became available again.

I advise you shouldn't disable anything beside Firewire port (which can fix card reader when turned off). I disabled my Fingerprint reader and my sleep broke.

Cant see an option for the firewire port in the hp2570p bios mate? Double checked. Does it even have a firewire port? My system BIOS version is 68ISB Ver F.42

One thing I have noticed is that if i plug my iphone into the right hand side eSata/USB port, it is not detected.
Works fine on the two usb ports at the back however.

Similar experience for you ??? (assuming that you have an iphone of course :) )

It works fine for me, all 4 ports, but I usually plug it to charging port.

Hmm something's gone wrong. the back USB too 2.0 port works. The USB 3 underneath isn't recognising any of the USB devices and neither is the side esata/usb2.0 port

They are definitely not faulty as I used the side USB port to actually install mavericks yesterday.
The USB stick also flashes when booting from clover but as soon as it boots into mavericks it's as if it not plugged in at all.

Grr

I'm going to start the whole installation again. This time will create a backup once I've got everything working.

You can try this without reinstalling:
- Delete DSDT.aml in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/ and reboot
- Run PBI and select like before, but don't select USB 3.0 DSDT patch, copy Extra/DSDT.aml to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/
- Download the kext here and install with Kext Wizard.

Ok I am finally happy with my setup - What is the best way to take a snapshot of this setup as it now incase I have issues again and need to do a the equivalent of a windows "system restore" back to these initial settings? :)

If you have an external harddrive, use Time Machine to take a back up. In case you want to restore, boot to recovery partition, then restore from that back up.
