Hi !!
I am wishing to build my Hackintosh which would be entirely dedicated to video editing. I have been using a MacBookPro for my own use, and PC at work. I always enjoyed working on MacOSX but I find very disappointing to see new Apple's setups...But, for now I can't get rid of Final Cut Pro which is still quite popular...
For those reason, I want my build to work perfectly for those apps : FCP, Avid Media Comp, but most of the time I'll use Abobe Premiere Pro and After Effect to take advantage of what CUDA brings...
After searching a bit everywhere on the internet, and thanks to :

here is what I thought would work well for me :
Motherboard :
[h=1]Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007R21JJK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)[/h]Wondering if I should go for the UD5H...
CPU :
[h=1]Intel Core i7-3770K (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SZ0EOW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)[/h]
Do I need a CPU cooler ?
GPU :
[h=1]EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti SSC 2048MB (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009KUT30E/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)[/h]I really think that for the price it gets, it should be very good for the use I'll make of it. I am not planing to work on 3D.
PSU :
[h=1]Corsair Builder Series CX V2 430-Watt (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W2T2TM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&smid=A3RWP3TCRBOOI3)[/h]Would that be enough ?
RAM :
[h=1]Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006EWUO22/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)[/h]
SSD :
[h=1]SanDisk 128 GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZW2LY4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&smid=A33Y0YQUZ2NYD5)[/h]
Case :
[h=1]NZXT Technologies Source 210 Computer Case (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005869A7K/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&smid=A1TSN35NIS24VZ)[/h]
More :
[h=1]Targus USB Bluetooth® Adapter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002K6RK0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?ie=UTF8&smid=A13KONT7UBBZUD)[/h]
Already Owned :
Green Caviar WD 1To HDD
Aple Mousse
I am not planing to use an Optical Drive.
Well, I guess it's pretty much it and it is now that I am really wondering what I could have forgotten...
Please, let me know what you think, what you advice to me...
Thanks a lot !!
Mathieu
