[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Thanks @CaseySJ,

I've switched off the port with ITE tech device, enabling me to switch on one more USB2 port.

My Monitor with the USB hub in it is a DELL U2713HM. It's connected to a Display Port, so, not a thunderbolt. I've seen things attached to it before, but only when I was running your USBInjectAll-071, USBInjectAll-076, and SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7. I've not yet been able to see it with my USBMap.kext, even with the XhciPortLimit kernel quirk checked on via OCC.
Which USB port is the monitor connected to? We may need to check that port's configuration.

BTW, when I tried switching on the XhciPortLimit kernel quirk I was still unable to get more than 15 ports working. I assume I'm missing something more that I'd need to do with that kernel quirk enabled. Is there more I'd need to do other than switching on that quirk?
The USB port map needs to define the additional ports, then enabling XhciPortLimit should make them all appear.

I'm trying to fresh install Monterey and Ventura on a partitioned external drive (WD 5TB USB 3.0) for the fourth time, and it always crashes after the third reboot. I don't know what to do..... help!

I'm on OpenCore 0.8.5.
What is SecureBootModel set to?

Try changing it to Default.
I've been on the installation screen for more than 40 min where it says that it has 1 min left... I have VTD enabled on firmware F9i maybe its the problem?... I don't know what it could be...

Please compress and post your EFI folder, but remove serial numbers from PlatformInfo. I can take a look in the morning.

Please try attached file, but copy serial numbers into PlatformInfo before use.

SecureBootModel is set to Default.

Press and release CMD-V at OpenCore boot picker to enable verbose mode. Let's see if there's any clue as to what's causing the problem.

Also, please list all devices installed inside (PCIe, USB, NVMe) and outside the system (via Thunderbolt and USB).

This might be a dumb question, but you mentioned external HDD & USB 3.0

1. Which USB port is your HDD attached to on the z390 board ?
I've had some really odd lockups when I used a USB 3.0 stick on a USB 2 port on this board.

2. Some WD drives used to have an issue where they went into sleep mode.
This was a few years ago, so I don't know if that's still an issue.

3. Also post a screenshot of your BIOS USB settings, just in case.
