[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ were there important/critical items to think about when manually updating opencore compared to the 0.7.0 version?
If I'm not wrong there's only 2 changes compared to the previous version

For Z390 Designare there are surprisingly no important or critical items to consider when upgrading to OC 0.7.1. This is mainly because we don't use FakePCIID, which we use on the Z490 Vision D and Z490 Vision G.

** OpenIntelWireless 2.0.0-alpha for Monterey Works **
This driver is included in the OpenCore 0.7.1 Intel Wireless EFI for Z390 Designare and Z490 Vision D

The latest driver can establish WiFi connections. This is an alpha driver, so please beware!

Could you check please if you can see BT RSSI in Menu bar on Monterey ?

And if possible on a real Mac too

Sure, will check soon.
Looks like Apple has removed a number of functions and statistics from the Bluetooth menu in Monterey.
  • (RSSI was never in the Bluetooth menu)
  • No "Reset the Bluetooth Module"
  • No "Factory reset all connected Apple devices"
  • No "Remove all devices"
I hope they bring these features back...

Big Sur on left and Monterey on right.

Good morning all,
i tried to modify the DMAR ssdt, and now all the network interfaces and the antelope interface are working with four 16Go DIMMs in my z390 Designare. need to do further testing but everything seems to be ok for now. for those who want to give a try, here is the process:

Bios: Vt-d enable

Opencore:
  1. copy this Attached SSDT-DMAR.aml in your ACPI folder
  2. modify your config.plist
Boot Arguments -> Remove "dart = 0"
Kernel Section -> Uncheck "DisableIoMapper"
ACPI Section - Delete -> add this entry

acpi delete.jpg

ACPI Section - Add -> add this entry

Hi yosoyoco

Good :thumbup: ! Which differences are between theses 2 DMAR files ? Are you using exact same memory than previous network issues?
