[Guide] HP Elite 8300 & 6300 Pro (all form factors) using Clover UEFI hotpatch

However, it doesn't show my bios / clover screen, and will just have a black screen until I get to the login.
Try enabling legacy support in BIOS and see what happens.

Also, both cards works perfectly in Windows 10.
Instead of your own ssdt.aml, put the i5-3470 ssdt.aml attached in the guide below into /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched and see if the RX570 shows it.

add:
config.plist -> Kernel and Kext Patches -> KernelXCPM = true (check)

In the patched folder, do I also remove SSDT-EC from previously too?

Now it’s seems to be really snow, and never reaches the end
I have an HP8300CMT i5-3470 RX570 and it worked fine with SMBIOS=Macmini6.1 (currently SMBIOS=iMacPro1.1).
Is the following story helpful?

not really.. but I was able to get screen to show up randomly again. I tried using the configplist from the following story. Not sure whats different between that one and the one I got form this thread though. Anyways, there was more frequent green flashes this time though. However, but screen would still be black.. I think I pressed the power button, and reconnected my hdmi, and after I clciekd the power button the second time. My login screen showed up...

Edit: I replicated it again... If I manage to put the computer to sleep (perhaps form being idle), And reawaken it , the gpu will respin and the display will show up.

Any clue on what is going on?

Edit2: doesnt look like there is anyway for me to put it into sleep other than being idle for a while, and the reawaken it.

I think it is the specifications of RX570.
The fan will rotate when the power is turned on or when the temperature exceeds 60 degrees.

Applemenu->sleep

As for what I was trying to do, I was trying to follow the guide below with SMBIOS=Macmini6.1.
It doesn't work unless SMBIOS=iMac13.2 according to the guide.
