[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Z390 Designare is pretty much sold out everywhere online including eBay. Any other options for Thunderbolt 3 with known compatibility with UAD Apollo audio interfaces?
This is a strange time because of the pending transition from Z390 to Z490. However if you can find other Gigabyte Z390 boards, you can use a Thunderbolt add-in-card. But even these add-in-cards are becoming hard to find because the next generation is about to launch.

Anything from the Gigabyte Z390 AORUS series should work. On the high end there is Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Xtreme which also has built-in Thunderbolt.

what's not right?

@CaseySJ

Good morning. The NUC7 only has one TB3 port.

Attached is the latest IORegistryExplorer file.
Please try the two attached files one by one. Ideally we should boot without a Thunderbolt device connected, login, then hot plug a TB device to see if it works.

Please flash the original firmware back to the chip. Like I said before you do not need to flash your firmware. Your UAD Apollo will work with the original firmware.

where can i find the original company for the 390 designer?
The first step in the firmware flashing guide reads the original firmware three times and saves it to disk. If you performed that step, you should have 3 copies of the original firmware. Please check. If you did not save the original firmware or cannot find it, please let me know.

I unfortunately did not overwrite it with miniprgramer software that does not save anything and the copy that I had lost when I last formatted it
