[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Something else, I got a problem with shutdown/sleep. I got native NVRAM enabled and bios F9b and when I want to shutdown the computer boots back again.
thanks
This can be tricky to resolve so I need to ask a number of questions:
  • Is this a brand new installation?
  • Did the problem exist when macOS was first installed, or did the problem start some days or weeks or months later?
  • If you are on native NVRAM, have you removed EmuVariableUefi.efi and "rc" scripts?
  • Are you running Mojave or Catalina?
  • What devices are connected to your internal F_USB header (internal USB 2.0 header)?
  • When you configured your BIOS settings, did you start with Load Optimized Defaults?

More good information! The hot air gun comes with these nozzles. Planning to start with the one in red:
It may be a good idea to get some smaller tips if they have them for that model (or if its a generic size). will probably want one with a 10mm to 15mm diameter.

I'm still working on getting the binary side of this down but booting with the edited DSDT really sped things up.
The delay in booting disappeared for me a while ago not sure why it just did.

Attached is my firmware from the built in alpine ridge on the GA-Z170X-DESIGNARE. As @losinka said it may be the same as theirs. If you can work your magic I can test it out today.

I'd love to confirm something with my attempt at patching if the you and the tagged friends here are ok with it.

Definitely cool with me.

Attached. Run with no SSDT from cold boot with device on first.

I'm curious to wether or not this approach is universal and this is helpful. So, thanks for trying!

Nothing appears. No hardware found in both IOreg and SysInfo.

Try again with SSDT. Doubtful, but again thank you for trying. Seems like my situation applies to...my situation.
