Hi Izo1...please can you tell me in what order you use sage 10/g slot? i think 2nd for TB card, 3rd for gpu, and for wifi/bt and usb pci/e?

Hi please see my OpenCore EFI folder there are images of the slots in the ZIP file.

Hey everyone - just wanted to see if anyone can confirm that the latest supplemental update is as smooth as the last few.

Thanks in advance!

Update went smooth here. I am using Opencore 0.5.0 release.

Thanks for the info. I have a different mobo: The X299 Prime Deluxe II. I have yet to see proof of compatibility with this combo. Windows 10 is flawless on this setup, The RAM is solid (same guts like RAM, PSU, GPU, SSD type, NVMe, cabling and case as the successful Aorus Z370 Gaming 7 build. Unless a fellow Deluxe II had a BIOS config file to try, I think this is bust. I built an OpenCore EFI for the system today. No boot.

Well, it was an interestingly maddening experience, but I'm returning the mobo and processor. It's a shame. I love the processor, I hate the motherboard. -But it is flawless with Windows 10 Pro.

So, if you are returning the Prime Deluxe II, keep the CPU, and buy a WS Sage CEB or the WS Sage/10G, (and do not use Bios versions 10.x, only 0905 or 12.x) and you will be fine.....

I have a WS Sage CEB (not 10G), and it works great in Windows, MacOS and Linux Mint.....Clover or OpenCore, doesn't matter, the Sage works great. Plenty of configs to pick from too.....

To be fair, however, I should note/warn you that I'm on Catalina D-Beta 10.......which I love......it's soon to be out, so why fight it? (Unless you're an Avid user, perhaps.....)

I'm only on Catalina, so sorry, can't help......BTW, it is in Gold Code mode, so a release is coming very soon.....

Smooth update here on Clover with all the latest kexts and all!

10980XE with slightly higher clocks than 9980XE for about 1K € ? Seems a great deal for anyone interested in building a powerful X299 hackintosh, for anyone who already got a 7980XE or 9980XE it’s just better to overclock them (since we spent a lot more than 1K € back in the days).

Gaahh! I knew it! Thanks for that info. I was truly baffled.

I got my Z370 and 8700K back up on Mojave after swapping out the parts. I definitely need Avid, VSL, Waves, and Thunderbolt. I'd like to know if anyone's had luck shoe-horning a Gigabyte Titan Ridge card into the Sage, or if I have to hunt down an Asus card. I'm a bit wary now, but dang that 14-core chip was really nice. I'm in the process of returning everything. What I'm running now is a 2018 Mini with 10Gb ethernet, 2TB flash, and 64 GB RAM. It runs at the same speed as the hack, just a lot hotter, but no throttling, and no dGPU.
