Hi chadm424, firstly get your build info into your signature, it helps others to help and the rules require it and they are enforced. The build is pretty much solid, so if you are having problems the most likely thing is that you have missed something and if it aint that, then the next most likely thing is a hardware fault. Which port on the computer is connected to your monitor?

I have my monitor connected to the GT710 through HDMI. I have no other way of connecting this pc to my monitor. I will try and fix my build info in a moment.

I swear I have followed the instructions verbatim. I updated the Bios to A29 and made all the changes necessary. I setup the Unibeast USB and boot through verbose. The only thing that I see while booting with Verbose is that there is a couple lines stating the CPU and GPU are unsupported. It all goes by very quick but the only other "error" I have seen is related to launchd

I am also getting an error after I let the installed sit for a while stating "An error occurred validating the installer data. The download is either damaged or incomplete."

To attempt to resolve this I made sure the date was correct as well as time. (it is correct)

After going through the Dell manuals it shows that the 7010 supports a Max of 16gb of ran while the 9010 supports 32gb. Is this based in the old firmware they came with? Or can the 7010 also run up to 32gb no problem? Thanks.

yeah dells manuals are wrong - 32gb for both - previous discussion in this thread. BUT I think its a maximum 8GB per ram slot so the boards that have only 2 slots may max out at 16GB. Anybody tried 16GB ram sticks?

HDMI is good.
All I can say is that this guide has been tested and on every occasion proved to be up to the task. Given the errors being reported Id start again from making the USB, the other option is to go thru quite a lot of detail with someone requesting info (pics and videos and logs) but I cant offer much help there.

I just tried creating the USB again and it's still acting the same way. I do not understand what is wrong. It seems to copy about 5gb of data to my SSD but it locks up at the 2 minutes remaining. I can still manipulate the machine (its not frozen just stuck).

This is bugging the absolute daylight out of me!! I bought the hardware because it is known to work and my luck haha I can't get it running

Re-check all of your BIOS settings. Also, which Samsung SSD model do you have? Try to do the build without the T6E installed. You can install it post macOS install.

@chadm424 - Not sure what to say, check and check again. Another USB stick? Maybe somebody else can chip in with a suggestion.

I have tried 2 attempts so far without the wireless card in it after carefully combing the install guide. Trying for a 3rd time now. I have also checked the Bios several times and even reset and changed again to ensure I didn't miss anything. Im using a Samsung 840 Pro 512gb

I have just come across a post talking about an issue with the installer related to RAM in the machine and what slots it is installed in. I have 10gb of RAM currently. Should I consider changing things around? I don't know if this is even plausible to affect the install

Hope you're not paying the electric bill. Especially if this 7010 is on all day long. Put a kill a watt meter on your 4K monitor and see how much current that is pulling too.

hello, In clover drive selection screen it seems that the resolution is very low because the icon is so big. how to run optimized screen resolution on drive selection screen?

and, Im planning on install msi rx 560 itx on SFF using pcie16x extension cable so the card would be outside of the casing. is it possible?
