It was much simpler than I thought.
The Apple support people I've talked with have always been friendly and cooperative. They generally don't know anything about hackintoshing. I read one post here where a person told them they were using a hack and they replied, "what's that?"

I told them that my Mac Mini was having an issue with iMessage - it gave me an "Unable to sign in" error with a support code. After telling it they started investigating, whitelisted my Optiplex and told me to wait.
It was much simpler than I thought. They haven't realized it's a Hackintosh. BTW, they also wanted to make a screen sharing session with me but I refused because I have Hackintosh-related apps installed that will 'uncover' me.

They wanted to do that too with me when I called them. I simply told them as per 'company policy' there was no remote sessions allowed on the network. They guy, said "I understand"... did a little 'click click' on his end - within an hour it was all working again.

Checked out iMessage and it still doesn't work. However I've noticed that now I've got 2 mac minis registered with my Apple ID, instead of one. Maybe support screwed something up?

@trs96 I just got my hands on a 7010 usff but it comes with a I5 3470s. If I try and replace it with the I7 3770s would the stock heatsink perform well on it? Also does it have to be the s version over the regular one? I'm assuming yes because of the smaller psu but would appreciate if you could shed some light on this new build. Thank you.

You should be able to delete the one with the wrong serial number. At one point I had 3 for the same 7010. I just logged into their web page and deleted the ones which were no longer valid.

I don't have any informations about serial numbers in the Apple ID management site.

That is ODD. When I looked at mine, it had 6 machines listed. 2 of them were OLD, OLD "real" MACs I used to own. I was able to delete them, as well as the other 'hackintoshes'.

I can only see the machines' names, OS versions and remove buttons.

I would change it before or you could simply delete, remove the 3570 SSDT before you shut down to change the CPU. Then add the 3770 SSDT after you boot the first time with the i7 installed.
I think I have a problem. I changed CPU, and it ran perfectly. I apply i7 3770 ssdt, and reboot and it’s stuck at apple loading bar for 15 minutes now, should I wait until something happend or maybe I ****ed up something?
