We have the same cpu...not sure what the difference in the model numbers are or what is causing yours to halt. I’ve been using Macmini 8,1 but you can see if MacbookPro15,2 works. Can’t really say, wish I had a better answer for you.

As for NVME SSD, I read that Samsung 970 EVO PLUS is not working, only the regular 970 EVO is working, has this been fixed? Does Samsung 960 EVO works?

Also, has anyone tried the new WD BLACK SN750?

The 970 Evo plus is still a nonstarter for Hackintoshs, but both the 960 Evos and WD Black SNXs work.

Did anyone using an Intel NUC8i7BEH have problems with screen flashing ?
If I leave fakeid in Clover -> Graphics Injector to the value that's in there (0x00000000) I get a flickering display (almost as if the buffer doesn't get cleared and reverts to a previous state every few seconds). If I change it to 0x19160000, my display works correctly, but I can't change to its native resolution (which is 4k). Do any of you have an idea as to the value I should enter ? I also tried 0x3EA58086 without any success.

Not sure it will work for you based on how you are set up but I removed all references to the ig-platform-id and that helped. It makes the Whatevergreen.kext figure out your display settings. I've also had that issue before trying to use a SYMBIOS different than iMac16,2 although now I use Macmin8,1 and with my updated config.plist it works great. A couple things to try if you feel like it.

Downgraded to Bios 51, able to move past Part II and step 6 without any problems, blank grey screen with apple logo and loading bar, the loading bar progresses to the end, nothing happens.
I did change the graphics injector fakeID to 0x1234568. (with a full stop at the end as in Cric's instructions).

Any thoughts?

Can you boot with the verbose flag (-v) and take a picture of where it hangs? Either that or zip and post your EFI folder from your usb drive and I can look at it tomorrow when I get home.

Okay, check this out. Right now there are no kexts at all in your Clover/kexts/Other folder which is essential for your USB boot drive. Download and add the following and you should be on your way (this is from the first page of the guide). Check back in if it works or for additional tips or whatever!

Do you mean 970? As long as that drive ins't a plus model it should be fine, the main thing seems to be adding those kexts!
