[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Are you using the Gigabyte Designare Z390 or the Gigabyte GA-Z270X-UD5?
  • In your CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder you have copied the 4 SSDTs for Designare Z390, including the USB SSDT (filename: SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V5.aml). This file is only valid for the Designare Z390 motherboard. If you're using the GA-Z270X-UD5, you must delete this file. In fact, you should delete all 4 of the SSDTs in that directory.
  • Attached is a modified config.plist that includes the 3rd USB port limit patch from the link in my previous email. I don't know whether these patches will work with 10.14.4, but it's worth a try.
  • In your CLOVER/kexts/Other folder, please delete these 2 files:
    • Lilu.kext.dSYM
    • WhateverGreen.kext.dSYM
first of all thank you for your time and help , i tried this but still USB3.0 not working in the from and in the back

This is exactly why we always ask users to create custom USB SSDTs for their motherboards! Every time Apple updates the OS, it is very likely that the USB port limit patch will stop working. This is why there are different USB patches for 10.14.0, 10.14.1, 10.14.2, etc. So you have 2 options:
  • Create a custom SSDT for your motherboard by following this guide.
  • Wait until a 10.14.4 USB port limit patch comes out.

Hello, this is a bit off of the build here, but this seems to be the best post to make this in before I start my own.

Working with an Nvidia 1080ti and the z390 designare on 10.13.4 and can't get the nvram to enable even with emuVariable installed. Any ideas would be great. I'm using the ACPI patches listed in the guide with the exception of the RX580 one and OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

Trying to avoid buying an RX580 to get this working.

Thanks for the fast reply! Is there a guide for uninstalling the entire clover install and installing with RC scripts? This would be the option with emulated NVRAM right?
Just run the Clover installer and select RC scripts.
