[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Is your i9-9900K recognized in "About this Mac"? Or does the CPU appear as "Unknown"?

It stayed as unknown, but the frequency was correct: "Processor 3.6GHz Unknown".

hi friend i just did the combo update for 10.14.4 and all working ok
except usb 3 not working at all

my hackintosh is by your guide and everything was working perfect until i made the update
can you please help me ?!
If you are using a USB port limit patch instead of a custom USB SSDT, it is possible that the patch no longer works in 10.14.4. You might want to try replacing that USB port limit patch with the 2 patches described here:

Odd. The new iMacs (19,2 and 19,3) might contain a special build of 10.14.4? Or perhaps 10.14.4 only supports mobile 9th generation CPUs?

I didn't try the x16 as the instructions state 1x
Fenvi FV-T919 works only in a x16 slot on this motherboard despite claims for compatibility in x1.

I think the SN is a key to clinch the update. But I don't know how to generate one for iMac19,x

We have to wait for an update to Clover Configurator or "MacSerial".

Yup. Tried in both. No go.
I am attaching my config if you could take a look at it. I just want to make sure I am not screwing up something obvious.

Just got my Hackintosh boot by following this guide. Huge thanks, BRO!

I have a question though. I originally installed my os on a SATA SSD. But my SATA SSD is made of an M2 SSD and an M2toSATA transition case since I didn't have a crew bolt to attach the M2 to my motherboard when I built my Hackintosh.

But now I am thinking about buying a screw bolt to attach my M2 SSD to the M2 port on my motherboard. I am thinking that I just pull the M2 SSD out and then directly insert it into M2 port. But I don't know if it will work. I have 2 questions that I hope someone can help me with:

1. Do I need to reinstall my OS?
2. If I don't need to, should I do anything else after plug my M2 SSD in? Do I need to insert any drives or change bios settings to make the computer boot from M2 SSD?

Huge thanks to anyone who can help!
