Did you install Mojave ? High Sierra ?

10.14.3, as mentioned.

Edit: Initial install was 10.14.1. Updated to 10.14.2 and then .3 from Software Update with no hitches. Generated SSDT caused the hang in all 3 versions.

Try this instead and see if it works.
config.plist /ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=Yes
config.plist /KernelAndKextPatches/KernelXCPM=Yes

Will do. Will report back momentarily.

However, I'm having a weird issue re: the SSDT I generated for power management.
Ive had some issues with ssdt creation which may have been me not doing it right but it has been very hit and miss. My advice is to make a copy of your current config.plist called configxcmp.list and save it in the same efo\clover folder as the original. Open this new file in Clover Configurator and set it up to use the 1st method described.

With this file saved you can now troubleshoot using Clover,
If you interrupt Clover and select Options you can choose which config to boot with and if you go to the ACPI(?) section ssdt you can select to drop the ssdt.aml file.

Id go for 3 boots with a look at intel power gadget on each boot
  1. Select your current config.plist (by default) AND drop the ssdt.aml - this generally seems to work well
  2. Select the configxcmp.list AND drop ssdt.aml - hot patched cpu management
  3. select your current config and leave ssdt as is - this is where it currently doesn't work
As for troubleshooting your ssdt itself, sorry but out of my depth.

PluginType=Yes and KernelXCPM=Yes with generated SSDT (no Ivy Bridge work around arguments needed during generation) worked like a charm! Proper amount of states confirmed with AppleIntelInfo.kext. Thanks, trs96!

@occupyjapan that you have both an ssdt and using xcpm is something I thought would not work but happy to see it does for you. Im interested in when you made the ssdt - did you do it with the xcpm settings already in place or without the xcpm settings set?

I should have been more specific, you need to use one or the other not both. Just use the PluginType=Yes method and not the SSDT via the script. Simply delete the SSDT from ACPI/patched folder.

Hi. I have a pretty good deal for a SFF with i5 3470 (so no HD4000), 8gb of RAM and a AMD Radeon HD 7470. Is this GPU compatible with hackintosh ?

These low cost Optiplex machines are like a bag of potato chips, how do you stop at just one chip ?
You reach back in the bag for more. Almost an automatic reflex.

I bought an SFF with i7-3770 after I bought a USFF and installed High Sierra on it about a year ago now.
