Hello,
I got my new laptop and decided to install Mojave on it.
I followed :
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/
&
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/
For now, the only thing I have working properly is WiFi.
I decided to continue the installation of all the peripherals, starting with Audio. I identified my Audio Codec with "aplay --list-devices" on Linux as ALC269VC.
I found out I need to use AppleHDA.kext + Lilu, I got them in Clover/Kext/Other right now, and use layout-id under Properties, in the Devices tab.
However I am not sure first if the AppleHDA is working. Secondly do I need to input something under inject in the audio part ? Is there a way to determine which layout-id I need to use ?
//=========
Secondly the list of other issues :
My screen looks like there is a lot of dithering, the gradients aren't smooth, such as the shadows under each windows (I noticed the same in Linux if that can be of any indication), also my screen flickers sometimes, happens when I am not using the laptop.
My trackpad isn't being detected in the settings, however I do have the right click (no left click), and two fingers scroll. Keyboard is working fine.
I will follow the rest of the installation (like brightness control etc, with DSDT patching) once I am done with Audio.
Thanks a lot for reading,
Lucas
