If VoodooHDA method doesn't work this is the next best option. Plug and play. Will work with no kexts/drivers to install.
Thanks and Yes, going to shop for similar gadget here..

Now that I reinstall with Sierra, I re-read the step:

6. Enable your analog and HDMI Audio

a. Use Kextbeast to install VoodooHDA 2.9.0 and the AppleHDA Disabler kext to /Library/Extensions. Find them attached below. Installing these will enable all your audio options if you are using the GT 710, 1030 or 1050 (Ti) graphics card.

Note: If you have the older GT 210 graphics card and want to use HDMI audio you will need to use an edited VoodooHDA kext that is to be installed to /Library/Extensions with Kextbeast. Find it attached below.

I realised in the past, I use Muitibeast to install voodooHDA2.9.0 d10 ( by checking the selection in Audio.. I am not sure if that has resulted in no Analogue audio.
Anyway, it there any different between using Multibeast to install voodooHDA and using Kextbeast to install voodooHDA?

Yes, a big difference. Using Multibeast to install VoodooHDA never works. Installing it with Kextbeast always works. Choose the latter. It's just as easy to install kexts with Kextbeast.

When in doubt, follow the guide directions precisely.

I decided to try install Sierra just so I can run with a working 'sleep function' and to compare with High Sierra, I have not done this step in High Sierra so it is new to me.

Now when I reach /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/ folder I saw an existing file SSDT-SB-i5.aml, what to do with it? Can the old file and a new SSDT.aml file coexist?
Delete the file SSDT-SB-i5.aml from that patched folder and keep the other SSDT.aml that is for the 2400 cpu.

trs96,
Thank you very much for explanations .

I continue step 6 for Sierra installation, upon reboot, I am very happy to see Sound works for both rear jack, front jack, and even working with a HiFi amplifier receiver attached on the same network.

Return to High Sierra HDD installation with no sound. Follow the proper steps , sound now works, I am very happy.

Quick test on iMessage, it just works , sync my iPhone with CustoMac.

I was reinstalling Sierra on my 8200 with a gt710. For longer then I care to admit, I could not fully boot from ssd. Signal loss would occur during boot. I could not figure it out. Turns out if using gt710, a iMac 14,2 smbios is needed. 12,2 smbios results in signal loss during boot.

May want to add smbios 14,2 needed for gt710 in OP.

Hi, I need help.

Just install Hi sierra on HP 8200 elite with core i7, and MSI GT 710 . bios version J01 v02.32. Serial Port A
:Disabled. Booting from USB and Install High Sierra to HD (no SSD hard drive) followed all steps and all installed with no problem. I did the Post install with multibeast (version 10.3.0), using smbios 12.2. and try to reboot from HD. no luck just black screen with blinking cursor. Boot with F9 and select SATA0 under legacy Boot -> Hard Drive -> SATA0 and the same problem just black screen with blinking cursor.

Thanks for your help.
