OK...Frustrating. CodecCommander.kext was in the /Library/Extensions folder already. I replaced it with the one that you provided. I repaired the permission and rebuilt the cache. I also changed the layout_id to 4. Still no sound. Attached is an updated ioreg file.

The ioregistryexplorer dump shows me that everything is alright. If you use the correct jack and it still does not work after sleep, we need to change the streams.

So, I still have nothing, sadly. I've tried the Line Out output from the Motherboard to the Line In input on the Monitor. I've tried the Displayport output to the monitor, and I've even tried both of the headphone jacks (on the front of the case and direct from the Motherboard).

I get the following:

So, I may be missing it, but I am not seeing a script to drag to the terminal window. I hope that am not being thick here, but I see hda-Verb in the directory, but I am unclear which script to which you are referring.

So, stream 0xC is disabled, try the provided tool that activates the streams, if it does not work try to reset the codec as well.
