Finally I found some time to take care of my build, everything I need seems to be working fine although I did not tested few things yet (USB 3.0 etc.).

I'm a bit time restricted therefore this is not a guide per se, but here's how I succeeded with my build:

0. UEFI settings as per usual for ASUS
1. I have created bootable USB as per: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/
2. I've added few kexts (EFI.zip) attached
3. This whole thing booted without an issue, and I performed clean install (APFS)
4. After installation I have upgraded to 10.13.1 and installed latest nVidia drivers
5. Ethernet worked out of the box
6. I had issues with audio, I resolved them the following way:
- I have installed 'ALC1220A (ASUS ROG STRIX Only) and 100/200 Series Audio drivers from MultiBeast - device was detected, but there was no sound
- then I followed: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/no-sound-realtek-alc-applehda-guide.143750/#post886717 this guide and installed 'FakePCIID.kext' and 'FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext' <-- that one wasn't necessary I guess since I do not use HDMI audio.

So - audio/video/network works without any issue, I'll update this post later on. I hope that will help somehow ;-)

Congratulations on the new build and thanks a lot for sharing your EFI.
I have the same motherboard, but MSI 1070ti. I tried everything to mount the Nvidia drivers to the hakintosh but no luck, even when using your EFI.
Did you face anything close to that?

I installed Download 10.13.5 -387.10.10.10.35.106 (17F77) Nvidia web driver and I have 10.13.5 macOS version.

@osxjunkie Do You have RAM in dual channel configuration?

My motherboard is the same I resolved same problems. except USB 3.0, I can only use the 3.1 Green conector as USB 3.0. Why?
