I had the same issue and used Shiki as well. Hopefully we can figure something out!

Is there any downside to using a MacPro6,1 SMBIOS over the iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS? I've found that 5K output from my RX580 fails under the iMac Pro config.

Did you try to use the vegagraphicsfixup.kext of @jyavenard?

I did, but I still had WEG loaded, which purposely disables AGDC. Without WEG under the iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS, the display would turn off after boot and not turn back on.

I should just buy a Vega, but those inflated prices :|
 
Yeah, just tried again with only the Vega Fixup kext installed, WEG removed, and no FB injection of any kind, and the display turns off half way through the boot process and doesn't come back. Thanks for the suggestion!

Try this #7276 and adjust framebuffer to Baffin in Clover config/graphics and with VegaFixup kext ( without WEG kext)
