same here. It is a LG monitor / Vega problem.

With a Philips UW monitor is boots with the correct resolution.

And same problems with 980TI and LG, ugly resolution, with Philips looks perfect.

Some cards don't work with the LG UW.

I guess it is the not most up-to-date DP implementation on the LG...

Funny, with my Nvidia Aurous GTX 1080Ti, there are no issues at all!

Disable freesync in the monitor menu.

FreeSync was never on in the monitor menu.
Ok then I also don't know :). I have that monitor for a gaming rig here and if I enable freesync it can't boot with CSM disabled and it automatically enables CSM. Kind weird, but I don't mind because it only runs windows.

It's not quite so simple. The 150i is using 3x120mm fans. The115i 1x140mm.
The radiator surface is 120*3*120=43200mm2
The other:140*2*140=39200mm2
The 150 is only 10% larger.
I have removed Corsair H150i pro and put Kraken x62 and I think it went just a little worse than was with 150i.

What happened is I bought internal USB hub from NXZT and when I installed it I smelled if something was burning. By the time I realized something went wrong I didn't have USB post on motherboard working. I con't even boot the PC because it complains about CPU_FAN error (no readings) and forces to go to BIOS settings.
I found that it was not motherboard problem. I started to have this problem after I installed Broadcom BCM943602cs on m.2 slot of original ASUS wifi card. I also think I had some problems with kext combinations. After I put ASUS original chip back and delete most of the kext files from other folder of boot drive I was able to use USB.
Now, I have problems with audio via DP/HDMI (not working) and can't connect my apple magic mouse and apple keyboard to bluetooth.

How much have you OCed your CPU?
Because 100C is pretty much expected depending on your settings, unless you have super cooling system
