nvidia-update - Simple way to install nVidia web drivers

@Levitys @KKevinLLeung Would you mind sharing your EFI folders?

Absolutely! Here is my entire EFI Drive Compressed. I hope this helps someone and saves them from what I had to go through LOL. Here's my hardware...

Thank you very much! My computer now runs very very smoothly and the memory occupied by windowserver does not increase crazily! Thank you!!!

Hello, I had the same problem with downgrading web driver to v378.10.10.10.25.106 via script in post #1 - but finally fixed it.
(webdriver *.158 was the hell)

I just had to set csr-active-config = 0x3 after automatic script-install of the whitelisted driver. Only with disabled SIP my system boots perfectly and smooth.

Thanks to benjamin.dobell

Howdy !

Newbie me here again ! Still no nvidia driver being loaded.

Looks like we have the same mobo, and similar NVIDIA GPU.

I noticed there is a nvram.plist in there, and I read on some other thread that some ppl might need to do some
stuff regarding nvram.

So what should one do with this EFI folder ? :) Copy this to the USB stick and re-install ? (yep noob)

How did I JUST found out about this?
This is just amazing, could it truly be? a one-stop shop for all of your web driver needs? is this reality?

I updated to 10.13.3 and updated my web drivers just to find out this combo is from hell, the performance was
so extremely bad I was ready to downgrade or even reinstall the OS just in case I messed it up somewhere.

Then I decided to visit the graphics forum and maybe ask for some help on downgrading my web drivers if possible
and here you are... just handing out solutions like cookies as if its Christmas, I used the script you provided...
it uninstalled the new drivers, downloaded and installed some other version (I didn't even care which one I just wanted my
hack to be usable) and after a quick restart, all of my problems are gone as if they were never there.
Could you please stay forever? LOL...
