What works:
Literally everything!! sound, gtx 1080 ti, wifi & bluetooth, all usb ports, sleep&wake, Ethernet, imessages, icloud, itunes, appstore you name it.

What doesnt work:
I have not found anything that doest work yet.

For those who are thinking about building a rig with the latest chipsets z270 and i7 I say go for it.

So you are not booting Sierra from your NVMe drive, correct? do you mind sharing your EFI folder?

Hi @RehabMan
It's been awhile, I accidentally reset my BIOS and am unable to boot.

I tried doing the usual by disabling Vt-d , hands off enabled but still unable to boot in successfully.

Am using M.2 960 EVO 1TB.

Any idea what is wrong with it?

Do you mind sharing your EFI folder? I am still having issues with my install. I would be grateful and maybe it will give me some insite.

Problem with that patch is that you'll need to re-apply it on updates.
By patching the framebuffer (via config.plist) you avoid that problem (and you enable the possibility of HDMI audio).

Thank you. I will try that.

I

@RehabMan i already did your patch Long ago remember and it work.

Not sure if you recalled that we had this conversation a Long time ago.

My hackintosh had been working fine all along till yesterday I was doing spring cleaning of my internal cpu , dusting everything out with air duster and fix everything back and turn it on, it could boot both into Windows and MAC.

After restarting I couldn't boot into either.

I got those errors.

Have you seen the verbose output in the screenshot?

Unit: Phy_mod error and using mod_unknown

Keep in mind if you make hardware changes, BIOS changes, etc. it could change the ACPI path associated with your NVMe.
No idea without typically required "Problem Reporting" files.

@RehabMan So Long as I reset bios the acpi path will change? Is there anything I can provide you without booting in? Cause I can't boot up as it will have the prohibited logo.

As per guide, you can obtain the path in Windows Device Manager.
Read guide, post #1, "Problem Reporting".
