Hmm. I am running from the master branch and it works fine. (If we are talking about the keys that control display brightness)

I'm referring to the fact that IntelBacklight.kext is a bit broken...
Must use AppleBacklight (with injector, ACPI patch, etc) instead.
This is something that happened in 10.12.4.

Hey guys,
I have a good installation of 10.12.4 on a EliteBook 820 G3. But there are three issues and I hope I get ideas from here, how to fix them.

I have a good installation of 10.12.4 on a EliteBook 820 G3. But there are three issues and I hope I get ideas from here, how to fix them.
- Battery is not being detected.
- Finder behaves weirdly. If I create a folder for example, it is not being displayed. If I navigate to folder by "go to folder", then it appears in Finder as well.
- Spotlight does not find Apps.

Check for hidden .metadata_never_index at the root of your system volume;

If it re-creates upon reboot, it is because your Clover is buggy. Update Clover.
Your ACPI files in ACPI/patched are not up-to-date with respect to the repo.
Your config.plist is from the beta branch, but not the ACPI files...
Make sure you have current beta branch, and run ./install_acpi.sh as per guide.

I can confirm that brightness is now working in 10.12.4, though increasing and decreasing brightness no longer "fades" like it does in windows or in previous versions, but not a big issue. Had to do a full refresh of my ACPI and config.plist files after it stopped working, but now good to go.
