Can't do it. That slot may be used for a device which is not NVMe.

Thanks again for all your support. I think I am going to get a 960 pro and try it out since it 3 times as fast as the
SAMSUNG MZVLV256HCHP-000H1 that comes std in the laptop.

You might look around for an NVMe drive that can change to 4k block size.

I know that is not the right thread, but i'm interested to switch to Sierra from El Cap with my Probook4530s ( fresh install or upgrade doesn't matter ).
I haven't found a post that say "sierra is working" .. so i'm asking here.
Anyone can report Sierra as working as El Capitan?
Is the install guide the same for Sierra?

I will test Sierra on my 4530s but there are issues. Better to stay at 10.11.6 to avoid problems.

Extra config.plist settings required for AMD graphics. And known issues with sleep/wake (probably a connectors issue).
This guide supports only Intel graphics.
Any discussion of non-Intel laptops here is off-topic.

Check Spotlight settings in SysPrefs.
Check also that you DO NOT have a .metadata_never_index file in the root of your system volume.

yes i found it and delete it

also i use these commands

rm /.metadata_never_index
sudo mdutil -i off /
sudo rm -rf /.Spotlight*
sudo mdutil -i on /
sudo mdutil -E /

and then its work fine now ˆˆ

I updated to Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 and my light level keys don't work anymore, I can't change the light level even if the icon light change, but not the screen.
Night shift doesn't work neither.. thanks !
