Hello! I UPDATE TO SIERRA AND ALL WORKING FINE! ASUS RAMPAGE 5 + ALL SUPPORTED CPU + nvidia 980 + ! (sleep works!)
Guys, need you instruction for sierra update and my dsdt, ssdt, clover config and kernel file?

I have only one thing - on captain my CPU score was 27000 - now it is 23000
I done all from piker alfa's instructions, but score still low (5930k)
Maybe it is happens because I update bios...

it's probably something with respect to the steps of Alfa's Piker. you are using BIOS unlock? maybe if you changed something in your BIOS? I found some problems in the BIOS (problems of states) and I have reported problems Asus, I indicated that in the next update will be corrected.
Working in a new guide for Sierra, but little time for it, I must indicate that they have made use of my DSDT, everything will be running 100% in SIERRA, further improvements have DSDT me and I'll be posting soon.
Info: 5Ghz WiFi is now native, you do not need clover patch.

It seems to be the perfect guide for my hardware setup. Looking forward to use it and install Sierra.

Unfortunately I use Sierra on my macbook Pro and when I try to install the new Clover EFI bootloader 2.3k i get this warring. "The package is incompatible with this version of mac os and may fail to install"

I have tried to ignore the warring but then I get this error "The installation failled".

I can see in one of your comments that you mention Sierra but I don't know if you have made a new guide for that version.

It would be great if you have a solution.

Of course, it is possible and everything should continue running smoothly, you must modify the config.plist to inject the limit of USB ports, because the path is different for Sierra.

Also to use Realtek ALC1150 Toleda patch at the moment.

Using my guide with Sierra also works is very similar, you can follow my steps applied to Seirra MacOS.

I will upload the config.plist for Sierra, only I have problems with the monitor died, new ROG SWIFT PG348Q coming, maybe two weeks more.

Sorry can not help but for the moment.

PS: Remember update your NVIDEA Web Drivers

If you remember I have problem to install also El Capitan. I press F8 in order to select my USB installer but it doesn't start and the process come back to the bios. You asked me to send you my EFI folder but I cannot send you because I have few posts. If you contact me in PM i can reply and send you what you request me.

I have studied your guide, reference to other treads etc. Unfortunately it is not possible for me to get any success. I know you have spend many months on finding the right solution for your setup and others as-well.

For me it seems like this guide has many pitfalls according to install Sierra.

Is there any hope that you will make a guide for installing Sierra from scratch ?

According to this Guide "El capitan" I get in to trouble already with the usb creation. I have had success with the unibeast instead. With the unibeast I just ran into other problems when I get into the clover bootloader on the pc where I want to install Sierra.

I believe the problems would'nt be there if it was possible to get a useable usb as you describe it, but that method dos'nt work.

Therefore I hope you will make a guide for install Sierra on Asus Rampage V from scratch, including the usb creation. (I believe methods etc. has change since you have created this well written guide)

Asus has launched the new BIOS 3402.
I hope that Asus has made the promised corrections, let's take a look, although it is not mentioned in the lists of changes.
