Great news !

Your question is about Clover and it's config.plist file. The best way to understand what you want is to read this wiki (look for "timeout" and "fast" in the boot section).

Then try new configuration on the EFI of your usb flash drive (which have boot priority in BIOS) and boot your OSX partition from there. If the modification doesn't work you just have to unplug the flash drive and boot from the SSD with you old untouched configuration !

When you have a working file you can copy in the EFI of your SSD !

Hello

All I can say is thank you. Got it all working. Turn on, straight to Mac. No need to go through Clover boot option.

Also upgraded to the new EL Capitan 10.11.4. Lost HDMI audio, but followed your post to use the .out version of the kext. Now all is back.

Just ordered the other Wifi/Bluetooth module so I can use a Bluetooth keyboard, will add in the missing bits that your setup for me took out.

Use AppleHDA_ALC283_out.kext if you are in 10.11.4. Get sudo touch S/L/E after run script.

Update in post#1 about Audio ...

I also changed my wifi/bt card to get a new one that works in Clover (BT mouse & keyboard)

I spoke to soon. Audio through HDMI not working again.

I just turned on, checked sound in prefs and there is no HDMI audio out anymore.

I have AppleHDA_ALC283_out.kext in my extension folder, and ran the terminal script befor . It worked then?

What does Get sudo touch S/L/E after run scrip mean? Is that something I can just type in the terminal window?
