10.6.7 Update + 10.7.3 Kernel Constant Reboot Loop

I am having the same issue as the original poster. I have tried to change my multiplier in the BIOS to x32, but my motherboard won't POST with that setting and reverts itself to x34. Any ideas?

    A 2011 MBP and a Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. I don't have a nice new MacBook pro but multibeast has been serving me well so far. I will try your turbo boost trick!

    GA-P67-UD4 B3 (Help!)

Hi Stylus, Your screenshot indicates the LNX2Mac version of the Ethernet driver is still installed. I was not able to get that to work with the B3 version of my board(though it worked great with the original UD4, thanks LNX2Mac) If you do a fresh install I suggest not installing LNX2Mac's...

    GA-P67A-UD4-B3 Sandybridge - Dual Boot Win7 - Advice please

My build is very similar to yours, see my signature below. I have a working 10.6.6 hackintosh with it now, but will be starting to play with the updated software tomorrow. I also have Windows 7 installed on a separate SATA drive and am able to boot to it easily by switching my boot order at...

    GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 _ ATI 5770/Sound/Network Success

Mine is working now(except for sleep and ESATA), and I will tell you how I did it. I have not yet tried to do anything with 10.6.7 and the updated kernel....I will be going in to that this weekend. But this worked for me with 10.6.6. Specs in signature, this is for the updated(non-recalled)...

    GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 _ ATI 5770/Sound/Network Success

I used this bluetooth dongle. Completely plug and play, no configuration needed. The device was recognized at boot, even when booting from OS X retail disc. OS X recognized the dongle and asked me to sync my mouse (It comes up with a diagram asking you to put your batteries in your mouse). I...

Mac OS X 10.6.7 Early 2011 MacBook Pro Sandy Bridge Update

This makes a lot of sense to me. I'll be interested to see what TonyMac et al come up with. Everything is working on my system as it is now, so I am satisfied with using Bridge Helper and hopefully being able to upgrade to Lion when the time comes.

    Does a S-ATA controller work?

I haven't tried to do this yet but am in the market for additional SATA ports as well! I believe only certain cards will work, but I haven't tried any yet. You may want to check out this thread where there is a good suggestion.

    GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 _ ATI 5770/Sound/Network Success

I am not able to get my network working after my motherboard was replaced with the non-recalled P67A-UD4-B3. Everything was working perfectly with the previous P67A-UD4, and the network card works in windows so it isn't a hardware issue. I tried the Multibeast install, which worked on the...

    !Gigabyte P67 Sb build!

I am considering returning my P67A-UD4 and getting a P67A-UD3 (the new, non-recalled version) I originally got the UD4 thinking I would need the eSATA ports, but I wasn't able to get the eSATA ports to work anyway. The UD3 is $50 less. The only other difference I could find in the specs was the...

PCI Express Card to add SATA ports?

Hello everyone, I am quickly realizing that 6 internal SATA ports will not be enough. Has anyone had any luck with expansion cards to add additional SATA ports? I just need to connect additional data HDDs, don't need them to be bootable, the more ports the better! 8-) Thanks!

    Gigabyte vs Asus

I would appreciate thoughts on this as well. I have a working Gigabyte Sandy Bridge System (see profile/signature) but am wondering if I should jump ship to Asus. Working: Almost everything (Audio, Network, Graphics, USB, FireWire Card PCI card, BlueTooth dongle) Not working: Sleep Strange...
