Z690 Chipset Motherboards and Alder Lake CPU

No further configuration is needed unless you want to switch off the debug code.

The EFI folder (not a file) is configured for debugging that displays the code indicating any errors.

If the code runs cleanly you can expect to see the Apple logo then the progress bar and then a login.

If you don't have macOS installed then you'll see a menu with Disk Utility, Install, etc.
So if I use that EFI on a new hard drive after formating it correctly I can install Mac os 12.6 directly on it? Or do I need to install Mac os 12.6 on hard drive first?

Soo for the debugging file I tried like 8 times everytime it boots then it locks me out with apple security before login, on the good news it seems as if I got the other EFI Folder to work and it hasn't restarted yet over an hour, the boot gave me a lag like the EFI Folder I was using before it didn't work because of bios update. All the md store and mdworkers are still active and I got the hash mismatch pop up after 30 minutes. So I opened fcpx and got a eGPU not found but it reverts back to 6900xt but I tried loading and rendering some clips and I'm not sure if it's rendering on the card, it seems to me to be working off the CPU. Check attached images.

Installing macOS:

1. Download macOS installer from App Store or use gibmacOS - see Github repo

2. Prepare USB drive - see Step 2. in tonymacx86.com Installation Guide

3. Create USB installer in terminal - copy, paste and run:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB
/Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app --nointeraction

4. Copy Opencore EFI folder into EFI partition on USB installer

5. Boot UEFI-USB installer, select macOS installer, erase target drive, install and set up macOS

According to the attached photos, you are logged into macOS.

What does "... locks me out with apple security before login" mean?
I had 2 efis folders, the one I made and the debugging one I was provided, the debugging one doesn't work and gets the apple security lock at the end before the login.

but the one I made is working better but still has a restart and unusual CPU activity. Also wondering why my GPU lights turn off when I use the opencore booster to Mac. Also I'm reading that I have to switch misc, security from default to disabled and maybe my restarts will stop?

What is happening when this image appears on the screen?
I'm not at the terminal now but its basically the verbose code and it goes to the end then gives me this. When I get back I'll take proper photos

basically the verbose code

This can happen when booting Opencore from a USB installer where the "stop sign" image indicates the system has lost the connection with the USB installer and stops reading code from the USB.

An easy fix you can try is to swap the USB installer into a different USB port and reboot.

I got the hash mismatch pop up after 30 minutes.

This "Volume Hash Mismatch" is an unusual error on a Mac

- what kind of disk (make, model) is disk1s3?

- can you run First Aid in Disk Utility on disk1s3?

- how often does it occur?

-does the system continue running or crash?
