Z690 Chipset Motherboards and Alder Lake CPU

After my previous post on AQC113C compatibility, I have found a DXE driver on iMac20,1_20,2 BIOS firmware named aqnicdxe with GUID B4ED58A2-6EEE-4819-9BD3-836ABD004EE6 :

On this file, 6 VID/PID related to AQC113 family appear :
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x00C0
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x04C0
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x94C0
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x93C0
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x14C0 < This one is for AQC113C
VID 0x1D6A PID 0x12C0

This is a good sign for macOS kext compatibility :)
Hi @Elias64Fr! I installed The latest Monterey Beta and tried to spoof AQC113C. No avail. Can you give me a hint? On windows and Linux it is working.

Hi @StefanAM
can you post your Ioreg files without and with device-id patch ?

As said two post earlier on this subject, AQC113C (VID 0x1D6A PID 0x14C0) is not suported by kext on Monterey 12.0.1, we need to patch device-id to spoof AQC113CS model (VID 0x1D6A PID 0x94C0) or AQC113 model (VID 0x1D6A PID 0x04C0), depending on performance test.

I don’t know which model is supported on Monterey beta.

Hi @Elias64Fr! I tried all values you posted above. I see no difference. In what apple kext I should look?

You can see compatibility on S/L/E/IONetworkFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleEthernetAquantiaAqtion.kext/Contents/Info.plist

You have spoofed wrong device-id (0x12C0) :

You should begining by spoofing 0x94C0 (device-id on IOreg should appear as C0 94 00 00).

This is not path of my previous post... it seem to be info.plist of AppleEthernetAquantiaAqtionFirmware.kext
