X99 Music Production Build 10.11.2 - will it work ?

Hi,

I've browsed a lot of forums lately, and so far couldn't get myself assured whether or if any of these builds could work. I would like to make it with X99 Chipset, as Intel plans to use in the future the socket of 2011V3. I'm not planning to overclock it, as i would like to keep the hardware as quiet as possible.
I'm mostly working on Cubase, a little of Ableton also. I would like to install the El Capitan already on it. Will it work?

I'm considering this type of build
CPU: 5820k
MB: Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4
RAM: 4x8GB DDR4
SYSTEM DRIVE: 850 EVO Samsung 250GB
HDD: Seagate 2TB 7200 RPM SATA
GPU: GTX 960 4GB WINDFORCE
CASE: CORSAIR 500R
COOLER: NOCTUA NH-D15
POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR RM 750i

Do You have any suggestions on this particular build? Did anyone make it work before?

have you built this setup and tried it out yet?


I'm planning on building a very similar setup and would be really glad to here any positive feedback on this build.
I found this guy on youtube and it seems to be the right way to go:

But still, it would be nice to hear if someone else got it to work for an audio production setup.

As for the OS X i think it is better to stick with Mavericks or at least Yosemite depending on what I read on different audio related forums.
