Hey all!

I posted this topic in the hardware troubleshooting thread and it was removed for some reason. Let me know if there is something I'm missing here. This may be a redundant question but I'm having trouble finding a general answer as what to expect from building a hackintosh.

My question is simply what can I expect to achieve in terms of performance on macOS vs windows running on the same hardware? Will I no matter what be taking a performance loss by running macOS on unoptimized hardware or should I keep trying to optimize until I achieve similar or superior performance?

My system is stable and working with a performance loss being the only consistent issue.

I'm currently experiencing a loss of 15% in benchmarks when comparing macOS to windows. Performance in certain applications (Adobe CC) is significantly slower then what I'm getting when running windows. I know there are ways in which my system is not functioning properly but I want to know if generally everyone achieves better results? If so I'll keep messing with it!

Thanks a ton!
