UP also sends F6: Apple Aluminum Keyboard Problem

Hello guys,

I have an Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, which recently began misbehaving. It is attached via USB to my Hackintosh. If I press the up arrow key, F6 is activated as well. The Keyboard Viewer shows that I am pressing both the Up and the F6 key when I press only the Up key. Every other key works as expected. Do you know what might be causing it or if there's any solution for it? I've updated from 10.8.2 to 10.8.4 today and problem persists.

hi,

sorry to bring up an old thread. But i am having the exact same issue. The Up arrow key sends UP + F6 to the system on my apple aluminium keyboard. I just wondering if anyone has any fix for the problem?
