Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not planning on overclocking as this system is powerful enough for my audio workstation tasks.

I will try that now. I already tried the normal OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi

Are there any recommended boot args I should use? Currently im using:

-v
nvda_drv=1
nv_disable=1
npci=0x2000

Attached is the EFI Im using in my clover boot loader.

  • Current problem is with the USB port in which your Sierra UEFI USB Installer is inserted.
    • Is your USB installer USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 type?
    • If USB 2.0Flash disk, is your USB installer inserted into a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Port?
    • Is the USB installer in a USB port in the Front Panel or Rear of the Computer Case?
  • Did you re-set the BIOS options after the BIOS Update ?
    • What are your choices on legacy USB
    • XHCI -hand off and
    • EHCI-handoff
    Images uploaded for reference about the above BIOS questions.

I actually just switched over to the USB 2.0port about 5 minutes ago and also did this modified/patched the line entry for the kernel in clover. (As outlined in https://nickwoodhams.com/broadwell/ )

It booted up and is now installing macOS Sierra!!!!

Yes, I did update the BIOS again after the update. I will update after the install is completed..Ofcourse the goal now is to boot without the USB after its done...

Baby Steps, lol.

Update: And yes the USB installer is USB 3.0 with Type A & C connector. But I plugged it into the USB 2 port on the back of the computer.
