Unable to install Clover v2

Hello, I'm unable to install clover v2.3k_r3974 on my new Sierra build. I've got monitor issues (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unable-to-see-multiple-monitors.211713/page-4#post-1414578), & I'm not sure how to move forward. Every time I install clover v2 and reboot, it comes up with the original clover. I'm unsure what settings I need to run during installation. Could that be the issue?

Try creating a new macOS partition. Install clover v2 on that one. Try to change the boot device. Report back if it works!

I'm not sure how to do that. Can you elaborate? Bootcamp will only let me do a windows partition. How do I do a mac one? If I create a new partition will I have to reinstall macOS first?

Update: I found out how to partition with Disk Utility. I'm installing macOS Sierra on it.

I have done this & run into the same roadblocks.
