VioletDragon many thanks for the hint! I tested a few iMac SMBIOSes and I just finished testing iMac 12.2 thoroughly, which is almost identical in hardware base setup with mine (only it has a NVIDA GPU, so bootflag nv_disable=1 on mine for now). Overall stability has again jumped up significantly! The Hack now feels ultimately right as if there were no bottlenecks left at all. It definitely pays to compare Mac model hardware setups and SMBIOS with what your hackintosh has got. Downside: Geekbench benchmark is slightly down - just under 50 counts single/multi core less than my earlier MacPro 3.1 build.
UPDATE: Sorry have to revert. Imac 12.1, 12.2, 13.1, 13.2 - all quite similar to my own hardware - wreck my hackintosh's USB to a buggy mess on my Legacy build. I am back on MacPro 3.1 there and doing wonderful so far. Will come back to SMBIOS experimentation on my trying the UEFI/CLover UEFI build and report.
