Hi,

I built my hackintosh few months ago (El Capitan 10.11.6), everything is working great (except the wake-sleep issue and some really minors things).

For now, I can get a dual screen set up (one plugged in the displayport, and one in the HDMI 1.4 port that I have to hotplug to make it work well). The thing is that I really need a 3rd monitor to work, I tried many usb3 or usb-c to hdmi but my 3rd screen never get recognized, I tried installing some displaylink drivers etc... But with no chance.

There's also a HDMI 2.0 port in my mobo but it doesn't work, I don't need the 2.0 hdmi feature cause that 3rd screen won't display videos or anything like that, so 30hz and 1920-1080 would be enough.

Is there a way to activate that HDMI port? Or does someone know a usb3 or usb-c to hdmi adapter which work with that mobo?

Thanks!

@garybloublou, please update your profile (personal details) with your build (Motherboard or Model, CPU and Graphics Card).

For ig-platform-id 0x19120000, disable all FB@ patches first, then rearrange FB@ sequence order to make FB@ 0306 work, add below patch to config.plist,

Name
AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer

Find
ff000000 01000000 20000000 01050900 00040000 87010000 02040a00 00040000 87010000 03060a00 00040000 87010000

Replace
01050900 00040000 87010000 02040a00 00040000 87010000 03060a00 00040000 87010000 ff000000 01000000 20000000

Set connectors type to match your mobo layout as below
Replace
01050900 xxxxxxxx 87010000 02040a00 xxxxxxxx 87010000 03060a00 xxxxxxxx 87010000 ff000000 01000000 20000000

Where xxxxxxxx equal to your connectors type
00040000 DP
00080000 HDMI

Ensure AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer in system caches, run below command,

sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches

Just did it, I disabled the previous FB@ patches, and added the one you wrote in replacing the xxxxxxx with my connectors (1 DP and 2 HDMI), unfortunately, it's still the same, I only have 2 monitors working.

How do you ensure AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer is in system caches? I attached a screen capture of what I got after running the terminal command (screencapture 2)

I don't know if these screen captures can help.

Use PlistEdit Pro to verify the patch, Clover Configurator may have problem if patch as long as 48 bytes

yes I'm using ig-platform-id 0x19120000,
and just used PlistEdit Pro, seems that the patch is ok, but still no 3rd display from that HDMI 2.0 port, maybe the issue is that it is HDMI 2.0 and not HDMI 1.4
