Hello all,

This randomly popped up into my head, thought I'd get some input on this subject.

I currently have a few Time Machine drives which I use incase a backup is needed etc. Lets say the macOS is linked to x[@]icloud.com. Say I decide to reinstall my Hackintosh, this time I also create a new iCloud email xx[@]icloud.com.

Can I still use the Time Machine which was used on a Mac linked to x[@]icloud.com

From the Time Machine settings, it does not really show any linked email or iCloud mail so theoretically this should work.

I don't think it should be a problem, I guess some input wouldn't hurt.

Yup, local Time Machine backups are indexed by machine name, not tied to an iCloud address. You can even choose the 'restore from Time Machine' option during setup before even entering any iCloud info.
