Well, the first time I tried it I had a lot of trouble and ended up removing it. But I have gone through a thousand configurations, beta and not, and I can't convince myself that it wasn't something I did.

When I redid everything to test my guide, it worked without any crashes. I was pleasantly surprised. But I haven't used it extensively yet, so we'll see.

So I put in my Nvidia GT 740 (using the OS X drivers), and on one of the first three boots I got a kernel panic in AppleIGB. It will be interesting to see whether it panics more (or only) in conjunction with the Nvidia card...

I'm also running an Nvidia card, GTX 980 Ti, but using web drivers. And experiencing kernel panics in AppleIGB.

Is the i211 working reliably for you with AppleIGB.kext? I have a Z170X-UD5 and the i211 stops working after ~10 minutes. Also after a couple reboots that kext starts crashing during boot and I have to remove it.

I would like to report 100% full success on my ~ $120 ASRock Z170M-itx/ac board!

BIOS version: 1.7 (came OOB with version 1.3)

What I like about this board is that it is a Z170 chipset but all the previous-generation older components like ALC892, Realtek ethernet, Intel USB 3.0, and Mini PCI-Express as opposed to M.2 for WiFi, all which are better for OS X Hackintosh compatibility. It also has native USB port recognition at address XHCI.

What I had to do:

Clover info.plist:

• Skylake AppleAPIC Patch from (http://www.tonymacx86.com/desktop-c...thread-skylake-platform-os-x.html#post1131981)
• USB FixOwnership set to TRUE to fix "AppleUSBLegacyRoot enabling legacy matching" at boot issue.
• iMac 17,1 SMBIOS copy / pasted and serial numbers changed from (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308706-imac-172-smbios/)
• Half RAM fix copy / pasted and memory speed changed from (http://www.tonymacx86.com/desktop-c...ead-skylake-platform-os-x-14.html#post1145542)

Kexts:
FakeSMC.kext from Unibeast 6 creation
RealtekRTL8111.kext from Unibeast 6 creation
realtekALC.kext from Toleda audio script.
DummyUSBXHCIPCI.kext with altered info.plist adding more iMac 17,1 ports HS01 - HS10 from (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306777-guide-usb-fix-el-capitan-1011/)

Clover 3320
• Nvidia Graphics Web Driver .plist edit to resolve black screen at boot after Apple logo with GTX970 from (http://www.tonymacx86.com/desktop-c...ead-skylake-platform-os-x-12.html#post1144838)
• Toleda audio_ALC injection script for audio from (https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALCInjection)
• DSDT.aml created from Ubuntu LiveCD put onto USB drive.
• Disabled Intel I1219-V Ethernet in BIOS because it has issues with El Capitan and secondary Realtek RTL8111H ethernet works fine.

WiFi / Bluetooth:
Broadcom BCM94331CD with Mini-PCI Express version 3.0 adapter, and two extra antenna cables. Drilled two 3/4 inch holes into aluminum port backplate for the two additional antennas.

Graphics:
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-2974-KR 4GB (newest version of EVGA card as of October 2015, factory 10% overclock with low-power long lasting more quiet fans)

Benchmark results:
• Cinebench R15:
OpenGL - 103.85 fps
CPU - 794 cb
• Geekbench 3 32-bit trial
Single-Core Score - 3,746
Multi-Core Score - 14,852
• Black Magic Disk Speed Test with Samsung 850 EVO SSD via SATA
Write - 99.3 MB/s
Read - 101.1 MB/s
• Unigine Valley Benchmark set to Extreme HD full screen 1080p
FPS - 51.9
Score - 2171
Min FPS - 39.1
Max FPS - 98.4

OK You got me there, sleep kernel panics on both S3 and S1 BIOS setting. Although personally I like having my computer on 100% of the time for filesharing / iTunes sharing / online remote screen sharing.

Also working on getting the "native" Broadcom bluetooth going that stopped working in El Capitain.

So, 95%?

burpethead - I am impressed with your success! And thank you for the documentation. Your choice of the ASRock Z170M-ITXac motherboard was/is perfect for addressing the “early adopter” issues.

When and if you have time, please post more photos. I and I am sure the others following this thread would like to see screens from the usual benchmark apps: Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, Geekbench 3, Heaven.app and CINEBENCH_R15. Also have you been able to bring up the HWMonitor.app?

Thank you neilhart your gratitude it is appreciated. I went ahead and uploaded another screenshot and results to my post with all your requested programs... iStat menus sensing everything great too.

Thanks for reply. All usb 3.0 works. I use all patches that here placed. But still not work properly intel HD Graphics 530 (I selected different values of memory option 64 -> 512). I have artefacts and freezes anyway. (intel injection fix the artefacts, but disable acceleration). Also I used and selected the different options in clover config.

Also I tried to enable the ethernet, but nothing not work. I have an error when i try to add new connection. Also not working Android USB Modem mode. I tried to use different kexts, but it still not working.
