Installation of OS X Using UniBeast & Clover

I was able to install Clover via the great TonyMacx86 method outlined on this page with some minor changes to the steps for my particular hardware.

Follow the directions in the link above to STEP 4:

STEP 5: Post - Installation

1. Download the latest version of CLOVER Sourceforge
2. Install Clover El Capitan with the following custom settings:
Important: These steps are performed on the SSD installation not USB.

Copy to End the Kext necessary:
Navigate to Volumes / EFI / CLOVER / and replace default config.plist with attached config.plist*
Navigate to Volumes / EFI / EFI / CLOVER / Driver64UEFI / and add with attached HFSPlus.efi*
Navigate to Volumes / EFI / CLOVER / kexts / 10.11 / and add FakeSMC.kext*
Navigate to Volumes / EFI / CLOVER / kexts / 10.11 / and add your Ethernet kext*

If a 'Maxwell' NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 750 Ti, 950, 960, 970, 980, 980 Ti graphics card or TITAN X, OS X graphics drivers are not supported natively used.
Drivers NVIDIA Alternate NVIDIA Graphics Drivers

Audio ALC1150 injection method of Toleda*

Run File "audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0l" and give yes to everything.

I have provided config.plist files. Work 100%

I have essentially the same build, and everything's working well except for sleep. If I use HDMI and run my 4K monitor at 30Hz, no problems. If I try display port and run 60Hz I get reboots when waking from sleep every time. And it doesn't actually reboot, it just tries to until I turn it off for a time, or unplug the Displayport and go back to HDMI. Frustrating and odd. 30Hz looks bad.

Maybe your bios needs an update. When I updated mine everything worked perfectly.

I have the EXACT same set up, and have tried your guide.

First, you have to include "nv_disable=1 npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1" in your boot options. I have *NO IDEA* how you were able to boot without it. Every single one of these motherboards requires it.

Second, when I try booting, it just hangs with a gray screen and a spinning beach ball. I have removed all devices except my display. I have even disconnected all of the hard drives from the system, and it still fails.

However, this system works 100% without a hitch with OS X 10.9.

Appreciate any help.

You might need a SSDT for your CPU. Check the crashlog.
Finally figured this out, and it wasn't a setting or SSDT or anything, it was the stupid display port cable. Must have been causing a short or something. Swapped it out and no problems since.

Forgive my arrogance, I actually figured out the issue. It turns out, one of the previous builds said to put the FakeSMC.kext and Ethernet.kext files in the EFI/kexts/10.11 directory. Once I did that, the drive booted right up. I'm now able to upgrade my system, believe it or not. This is great! Finally, I'll have 10.11 on my desktop instead of 10.9! The future!
