[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Some questions:
  • Are you installing Big Sur?
  • What is the make/model of your GPU?
  • What is the make/model of your monitor?
  • Are you connecting GPU to monitor with HDMI-to-HDMI cable? Or DP-to-DP cable?
  • If the monitor is going blank, have you tried (a) powering off the monitor and (b) powering on the monitor?
-Big Sur -> Yes.
-RX580
-EIZO FlexScan EV2781
-I tried both, HDMI-to-HDMI and DP-to-DP. Now i'm using DP-to-DP.
-I tried to unplug and turn it on and off. The monitor is getting no video signal, it goes straight into sleep mode.

After the monitor gets black and i force shut down the Hackie i must cold restart the Hackie to boot into my recent system if not it get stuck at the bios boot screen.

Below you will find the screenshot I can take of the output section which appears to be disabled

None of the built-in audio ports are showing, which could be due to any of these factors:
  • AppleALC.kext not installed
  • Layout ID not set (boot argument alcid=11)
  • One or more device properties added in DeviceProperties section of config.plist
    • It's best to delete all audio device properties
If these hints do not help please post IOReg file from IORegistryExplorer (File -> Save As...).

Couple more questions:
  • In BIOS, is Initial Display Output set to PCIe 1 Slot?
  • Is on-board HDMI port enabled (in other words is your config.plist based on config-Intel-iGPU.plist)?

What is the file size of the zipped IOReg file?

Other users have uploaded their IOReg file in recent days without any problem.

AppleALC is not running. Please open your config.plist in OpenCore Configurator and post screenshot of the Kernel page. Before taking the screenshot, resize window so everything is visible, like this:
