Nevermind I bought a Fenvi T919 Card, I was using an original Mac Pro (Cheesegrater) Broadcom Module on a PCI Adapter which wasn't working since Mojave I have given up on this.

I've just added a link for OpenCore 0.9.1 EFI in Section 1 of the spoiler Quick Reference to Mini-Guides and Micro-Guides at the top of Post 1.

We just need to have OpenCore 0.9.1, then (a) download the Ventura installer and (b) create a USB install disk. The instructions for (a) and (b) can be followed from STEP 1 and STEP 2 located here:

Step 1:

Step 2:
Hi Casey. I followed the steps in 1 and 2 above (plus 3 and 4 to tweak the EFI and copy it to the USB install disk), however when I press F12, it finds the USB (UEFI: Sandisk, partition 1), but it won’t boot from it. It just blinks for a second then restarts the pc.

In the EFI partition of the USB flash disk, is there a top-level folder called “EFI”? If so, is OpenCore installed inside of it? There should be two sub-folders here: BOOT and OC.

Yup I think so. Please see attachment - this is the contents of the EFI partition of the USB

That looks correct. Let's take a look at the entire EFI folder. Please post a copy, but remove serial numbers from PlatformInfo -> DataHub before posting.

Casey, my bad, I took the name of your EFI folder and kept it the same (i.e. OpenCore 0.9.1 EFI for Z390 Designare). I renamed the EFI folder to 'EFI' and it booted perfectly.

So far, this has been the easiest Hackintosh I haven't built, and I'm a 10+ year veteran! Everything worked after the first boot, including Sleep, which has been pretty astounding! iMessage works without a hitch, iCloud tabs and Thank you for making it so easy.

The only weird thing I've noticed is that on YouTube with Safari, when I skip ads by tapping "skip this advert", when I click at different points in the video, the adverts keep coming back? And also, I'm guessing Netflix/Prime video, etc., won't work on Safari, and we have to use Chrome/Firefox?

Thanks again!

Hey @CaseySJ - having a slight problem with Sleep. The Mac goes to sleep fine (either by itself or doing it manually via tapping Sleep on the Apple menu in the top left corner), however, it keeps waking every 10/15mins or so with this as the wake reason:

Code:

I've also tried
Code:
sudo pmset -b tcpkeepalive 0
and
Code:
sudo pmset -b tcpkeepalive 1
, but still getting the same problem. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Can someone point me to instruction for flashing Tthunderbolt chip with Raspberry Pi. I have the Pi set up but it won't find the chip. Thanks.

Have you seen the entire Section 8 including the highlighted item? It's at the top of Post 1, in the spoiler Quick Reference to Mini-Guides and Micro-Guides.
