Yeah the BT (apple BCM94360CS2) connectors are a pain in the rear to connect. The PCI-E adapter I bought had the wrong size pigtail connectors (plus they were too short), so I bought a set of pigtails with the what I think is the correct size connectors from Amazon and I still have issues getting them connected.

Update: I swapped from the PCIE adapter to the onboard M.2 conncetor for wifi. I had to remove the plastic shrouding covering the IO ports as the apple card is a tad bit taller than the stock card. This means the metal shielding for the wifi module wouldn't fit either. I used some thin, large washers as shims and screwed the wifi/bluetooth coax cables to the back of the case/io shielding, then I used the included asus shark fin antenna and now wifi is even better and blue tooth is solid. I spent almost an hour getting those stupid pigtails to latch onto the apple wifi card, then a spot of super glue and some strapping tape and they shouldnt go anywhere. The rear fan on my case rubs up against the wifi module but I think it will be ok in the short term. By not using the pcie wifi adapter, I can use my bottom case fans now too. Win/Win.

I have glanced through Rehabman's SDST guide for USBInjectAll and it seems a tad confusing. I will have to sit down and work through it later to get all my usb ports works.

So far I am really stoked about how well the system is working so far.

There is a simpler USB explanation in @ammulder 's Skylake guide (paragraph 7 onwards). Either one, check the USB template has the correct device and vendor ID at the top (easily spotted). You can get these from your Systen Report USB section.

My DisplayPort cables and 2nd 970 EVO arrived today, so I installed the drive and moved my monitors from my iMac to the new hackintosh, and its all working well!

Some quick benchmarks... the LuxMark score is about 3x better than my 2013 27" iMac, the Geekbench scores are not as dramatic though.

Back with an update. I've been having some cooling issues...beQuiet Pure Rock Slim, wasn't keeping the cpu consistently cool, I tried putting a Noctua NS-DH15S in, but damn that thing was HUGE! (thats what she said) and wouldn't orient in line with the rear exhaust fan and just gobbled up most of the space inside my case (InWin 301 mATX).

So I decided to try out an AIO, Corsair H100i PRO RGB. I was worried about pump noise and fans spinning at 100% but that wasn't the case (pun intended). All of the cores are running around mid 30's to low 40's under normal use and up around low 50's while playing some WoW. Now I just need to figure out how to disable the stupid RGB.

Also, I went through Rehabman's guide on creating an SSDT for USB and I have all USB ports working as USB 2.0 and 3.0, I also had the USB C port working. So far the USB 3.1 gen 2 port is working but as far as I can tell, it's only running at 3.0 speeds (I don't have any USB 3.1 devices). Attaching my port mapping graphic and aml file in case it helps anyone else.

I saw in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/adding-audio-codec-applealc.264396/page-8 Toleda and NZRichard are having some success with the onboard S1200A audio, so I am hoping they can get that fully working soon.

I plan to run some new benchmarks tonight and maybe look at some minor overclocking in the next few days.

The very important part:
Created NEW EMPTY config using Clover Configurator. No UniBeast, no MultiBeast – they kill GPU+iGPU.
To get working iGPU hardware acceleration – it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT not to use any injects, patches, fixes, device-ids, flags etc. Choose iMac18,3 in the SMBIOS and WhateverGreen will take care of all the rest necessary things. My config.plist in the attachment

@dadof2brats Did you plug your WiFi module into the slot for the Asus Wifi Go module on your Z390 board? (it sounds like you did.) Because on the Z390M Pro Gaming, that slot is actually a CNVi slot which supposedly will not support a conventional M.2 WiFi/BT card, at least according to what being stated about the CNVi slot compatibility. See this link, and the links it refers to. If that's indeed what you did, and it's working, I think it would be immensely helpful to post in that thread so that others can try it out!

I did, Apple WiFi/Bluetooth module is working just fine in that onboard slot, although its a tad tall.

I tried the RX580 first and no signal, so I removed the GPU and tried to get a signal from the MB - neither worked.
