seems odd to not have any files in ACPI folder

also this would have given it away:
_OSI to XOSI rename - requires SSDT-XOSI.aml
etc...

Are you able to disable the GTX1660 graphics in your laptop's BIOS ?
in the bios that I have, there is no VGA disable menu, how do I work around this? can it be done via device manager?

device manager is only for windows

you can create a SSDT after installing to disable your nvidia

But i can't boot to installer
i know, but you already have a boot argument to semi disable it which is fine for installation
