Strange graphics glitch on Yosemite with HD 7870 Tahiti LE.
Hi, first poster here...
I've recently updated my customac from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Yosemite 10.10.5 to take advantage of the better graphics handling of another GPU - the VTX3D HD7870 black edition (Tahiti LE)
The install was relatively straightforward thanks to the great guides put together here, (thank you), but I've encountered a strange phenomenon on the Yosemite desktop. There are random glitchy squares, like digital interference noise appearing on some of the menus and text, although it doesn't seem to appear on Safari and Youtube videos run fine.
I seem to be getting full acceleration with GraphicsEnabler=No by default, but I can't find any other relevant info about this problem. Do I need to do some editing of the 7xxx kext? Has anyone had any similar experience of this? I've attached a couple of screenshots of the fault... Quite frustrating as the squares are obscuring text.
Thanks
