Radeon VII should be an easy drop in replacement for your RX 580.

Catalina hasn't been a problem for me at all and I've been on it since day one of its release.

All Radeon VIIs are reference. There are no real differences between any brand.

It depends on how your config.plist is currently set up...

The Radeon VII shouldn't need any graphics fixes in config.plist, so if you have any right now, remove them before installing your Radeon VII. Leaving everything empty is correct.

If the settings for the graphics card in config.plist can only come from the graphic section of Clover (is that so?), I have nothing else, except the injectATI done with MultiBeast at the time of the very first installation of Mojave. (It also adds more than that what's in Clover?)

I have that Orinoco setting, but as I said, removing it and removing inject, everything works, even if it is slightly less performing (and I wonder why?).
For some days, I have not been on my PC (hence my delay in thanking you). As soon as I am able, maybe I will place my config.plist. If you have time you can tell me how many errors have accumulated over time. (I try to learn, but obviously in many things I can make a mess.)

I took a look at the link you suggested, as soon as I get a little more confident with the card I will think about doing some optimization, but I don't feel a real need (maybe for some temporary tests).

I could live with it but i am in trouble now as i have finished 3 hours long wedding video and deadline is almost up and i cannot render it to file, it crashes every time, when i try to render it. Different percentages every time where freeze occurs. Most i have gotten is to 65%. I have done all hardware tests, all work just fine. The panic message i get from report file says:

Is that all there was to the panic log? Was there anything you omitted?

There's another user who just posted he noticed that his Vega temps were high... Maybe you can try using VGTab to cool your Vega a big more.

Yes, sorry, there was more in the panic reply, when this happens again, i will post whole report. I am going to try this VGTab, thanks for that! The bad thing is it freezes also in regular Resolve use, like playing video in program and nothing even added yet (no plugins not corrections, nothing), i doubt the temp would be high. My HWmonitor shows GPU die in program about 45 degr celsius and with high rendering to max 70. Or perhaps this is not good montoring tool for GPU temp, Can You recommend something ? Thanks!

70C should be well within normal operating range...

I just used iStat menus for monitoring, but I never knew how accurate it was.

I'm trying to install High Sierra. I got it to install just fine and was working on making the final configurations with MultiBeast. I restarted the computer before the configurations were finalized and it booted into this screen. Thought..."No problem...I'll just reformat everything and do a fresh install." Well, now every time the installation completes...it goes to this screen. Thoughts?
