Hello,
to best set up the Radeon VII do I have to make any changes in the EFI, especially in the config.plist?
I made some bencmarks and I found quite important differences with the Windows world (MacOS is lower), but if it is natively supported by Catalina it should not be less performing (I would expect the opposite).
I have in the config the setting of the Framebuffer on Orinoco, but I tried to remove it and leave it with nothing, but the performance dropped a little more, so I reset it, but maybe it's not the best one.
I also tried to remove the inject ATI , therefore leaving everything empty, but no difference (as for Framebuffer empty field).
You would do me a great favor if you told me if in addition to that part there is also other on which I have to intervene to make it go to the best.
Thanks in advance, for when you have some time ...
It depends on how your config.plist is currently set up...
The Radeon VII shouldn't need any graphics fixes in config.plist, so if you have any right now, remove them before installing your Radeon VII. Leaving everything empty is correct.
If you want to improve performance, please see the following guide:
[TOOL] Radeon VII PowerPlay Table Generator (OC, UV, Fan Curve)
Removed. Since I was getting banned from here for helping others I am not interested in supporting this platform with my content any longer. Bye.
