Way too much. Adjust it down to 1.35 and go down from there. Change V core to manual and type in 1.350. You will also see a dramatic decrease in CPU temp.
I use Handbrake to stress CPU at 100%. If it will survive an hour of Handbrake your good. Games are not a good stress test for CPU.
Mine at 4.7 OC will top out at 69C with my large air cooler.

Here is a guide that may help you.

Thanks, holy crap yeah, Handbreak pushed this way past FCPX. I do have my fans set to a much more sound friendly curve via auto tune in the BIOS. However they spin up fast and I did not have a crash for 5 mins where I was @ 120+ W on the CPU package... I think the auto vcore is getting the CPU a bit hotter than needed since I am hitting 70C on this big water-cooling block.

Temps fall quick once the process is halted. 14-20C inside the case.

1st image is hand break going at it
2nd image is right after pausing the process

Go into your config.plist using clover configurator and enable fix shutdown.

I will have to do this manually since clover file is changing a TON of lines between my current config.plist file and the one it just generated for ONE new option ( the one you suggested )

You should be able to drop V core down which will lower your CPU temp. Like I said at 4.7 OC I was able to get V core to 1.3125.

Dropped my V from 1.390~ auto to 1.350 manual on x46 ran a hand break and my temps were over 10C lower.

Then I ran;
Code:
./ssdtPRGen.sh -f 4000 -turbo 4700 -c 3 -t 111
Dropped Vcore from 1.340 and bumped multi to x47 and temps have hit 67C max so far also CPU Pack Total is hitting 111-113 total.

I will try lowering the vcore some more to see if I am still stable with less heat

Correct, I posted what I did to account for that, if you read back. Please let me know if I went down the wrong path? Thanks.

EDIT: I still have a problem where if I opt to SHUTDOWN the computer just reboots. This started happening since I messed with the ssdt.aml file per stork/rab guides.

@Bizwiz

Have you got your sleep sorted out with the Hero Viii. It has taken a few weeks but I have got it sorted now with a usb ssdt. Tested it tonight and sleep is working perfectly. If you want the ssdt let me know. Thanks to @RehabMan for the template.

I have not yet messed with the usb ssdt, the only thing that is still broken is the, on SHUTDOWN it just reboots.
I have been fiddling with so much stuff in the last 48 hours lol.

I am down to 1.330 Vcore and stable @ 4.7Ghz @ 61C Handbreak idle 16C
on NZXT Kraken X61 using 2 x NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM, 140mm PWM

From what I have learned sorting out the USB's has a big impact on various power functions but I am no expert. It is a bit of a steep learning curve.

I am glad to say that I didn't have to get a new motherboard. I did however have to put in a NIC card for Ethernet. Even went ahead and upgraded to 10.12.4 and everything is working not even that crazy boot of optifix I got when I first built. However FCPX when rendering my videos has become slower. I don't know if this is something with 10.12 as I first saw or the new Nvidia drivers. Any thoughts or fixes?

If you're running the latest Pascal Nvidia drivers, then the slowness of FXPX might be due to the drivers as they are immature. See the Graphics forum section for more on this topic > https://www.tonymacx86.com/forums/graphics.13/
