He has those in other folder, but in System Preferences under Kexts “Detect” is selected which is preferable for Kexts in S/L/Extensions or L/Extensions. Maybe change that to “Inject” for Clover/Other Kexts function.

Using Clover configurator app you can select it in System Preferences. Multibeast or Kextbeast usually injects the kexts in Libray/Extensions folder on main drive partition. Some place them in System/Library/Extensions folder. When they are located there Detect is a good setting, When they are in Clover kexts folder Inject is a better setting to assure injection during boot.

Are you using a separate disk to install on? I noticed your default volume in pic shows the UUID of your existing disk. If you are trying to install to a different disk this may be the problem? You can use the arrow to the left to choose last booted volume if installing to different disk.

It's my only disk (in which I have only Sierra on it). I try to upgrade it to High Sierra
I saw in this forum a post in which they said to put the UUID instead of the name of the disk.

And for information ,I try few minutes ago to copy paste my Library/Extension kext to Clover/Kext/Other and boot with inject but without success (and see the screenshot of the verbose,before the line Still waiting for root device)

Did you try the npci commands I posted earlier?

Maybe try using disk utility in Sierra and select partition option and create a new partition 60gb or so if you have space and rename it. Then try again.

Hello,

I have tried the npci (2000 and 3000), and my actual hdd with Sierra is only 80go so too small to do a new partition to install High Sierra


To be clear at this point and to help the understanding, i repost the main information and screenshots of all significant Clover Configurator :

I am already on Mac OS Sierra 12.10.6 and I desperately try to upgrade it to High Sierra
Motherboard : ASUS P5QL PRO
CPU : 2,5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory : 6 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphic : ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB
My OS Sierra is on a HDD Sata - SAMSUNG HD080HJ - 80Go

Certain SATA controllers have issues with AppleAHCIPort v329 (eg ICH10, 5 series, 7 series, ASMedia 1061)
Disks may fail to initialize, not readable or hot plug may fail.
