Just use the "new method" they told you to use

I have gone into Clover Configurator and NvidiaWeb is already checked. It is still booting to half loading bar and restarting. I will have to always boot with nv_disable=1. I can't get around why I am having these problems! If you have any other suggestions, please help me. Everything else works, but this. This is the last thing until I get it completely up and running.

I got the same problem with my 980Ti.
If you check "About this Mac" what is you card identified as?
Mine is "Nvidia Chip Model 22 mb". Can only boot by disabling my card using nv_disable=1. Otherwise it gets stuck at IOConsoleUsers gIOScreenLockState 3 error.

I will have to go into verbose mode and find out, but when I boot with nv_disable=1 with a VGA cord it identifies my card as Nvidia Chip Model 7mb. If I boot with nv_disable=1 with an HDMI cable, it says Display 7mb.
